Exam #2
The thoughts I had about this exam were different, I thought
it was going to be harder than the first one. But it was not like that, because
all of it got covered during class which I had good notes. This time I took
good notes in class and paid a lot of attention, which helped me understand what
we were learning. This time there was no confusion on what we were learning. I
also made index cards over all the vocabulary. Having all the information that
is needed actually helped me for this test, also what helped me were those
quizzes we took over the notes we had taken the day before. All the things we
learned in class where in the test which met my expectations, because I was
able to answer the questions. What not meet my expectations was that I didn’t know
there was more than one signal words for antonyms and definitions. The way I will
approach future exams will be the same way by making flash cards, making sure I
have all the information, and going over my notes the night before the test and
the day of the test. One way that I would
do something differently is to make sure I have all the notes that I need if
not ask a classmate, to make sure I get everything covered and that I am prepared.
Some advice I would give to my classmates is to make s study group or ask
classmates for help. In college you need to learn to not be independent its
okay to ask for help when you feel like you need it. When you get your test
answer all the questions you know good first, that way you know those will be
right. Also making flash cards really helps, it helped me a lot this time. If
your having trouble with some material go over that until you are confident in
that area or ask for help.
I can totally agree with you when it comes to the exam, I thought it was pretty easy as well!
ReplyDeletepaying attention in class and having good notes will pay off in the long run. Asking for help is not a bad thing to do not be afraid to asking someone for help. Confident is the key to have when you are taking the exams in class.
ReplyDeleteAlso you can make your own quizlet and it will help just as well as the flashcards.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the advice you gave the index cards really worked for me
